Even though Psychology Today wrote about the “Joy of Missing Out” back in July,  I learned of the hashtag for it– #JOMO — this morning on Twitter thanks to Techno Claus @Pogue.  (Hang on, this will unfold into something worthy of #grappling. )  😎

First, tho, you have to know about #FOMO for any of this to make sense.

throw back to Crypto-Cranium…

a blog ahead of it’s time!  (Cryptically speaking, that is.)  As for early blogs, how about the Zen Blog (circa Y2K)  I tried the “way back” machine for a link, speaking geeky, but no luck. I actually started my online journey here ->  CompuServe (especially the CB chat rooms.)  And, let’s not forget the ever popular AKSbook.com  site with the galactic fave:  AKS Errata page!  (inside Dickhead j/k)

This blog has a lot of errors on the older posts. Oh well.  Hey, JC, what was the widget with the ability to post to Medium at same time?  (this is so “dev” communicating with you here, HA!)

My PKD Big Bang aka “Accidental Appreciation” – really novel writing ;)

The following is a piece I wrote back in Y2K (2000) when I wasn’t quite ready to really write the novel. I’m posting now for two reasons. 1) Mr. Hand of the Philip K. Dick and Religion blog offered me a guest post (thank you, Teddy!) and 2) I needed to explain what I mean by my PKD Big Bang epiphany. I could probably articulate this better now, that like Phil, I have over a million words under my belt that I did not back in 2000. Oh well, it is what it is. The end is really PhilDickian!!
